Swim South East is one of the 8 regions of the Amateur Swimming Association. The Region comprises the clubs, associations, organisations and bodies with headquarters within the ceremonial counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Surrey and West Sussex, together with the Crown Dependencies of the Channel Islands.
The Regional Management Board and the South East Regional team, based in Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre, near Marlow, are collectively responsible for managing all the aquatic disciplines (Diving, Swimming, Disability Swimming, Open Water Swimming, Synchronised Swimming and Water Polo) within the Region.
The Regional Director and Chairman lead the Board to manage the delivery of Regional strategies and in seeking funding initiatives and partners to ensure this can be achieved successfully.

The ASA Invites Nominations for Sports Club of the Year

The ASA is looking for up to three swim21 accredited clubs to put forward for the CCPR Sports Club of the Year award.
The awards, in association with the Foundation for Sport and the Arts (FSA) and runningsports, recognise sports clubs which have made an outstanding contribution within their community.

The Region has identified Regional outcomes and targets for 2009-13 and developed an operational plan for 2009-2010.
Appointment of Regional Chairman

The current Chairman's appointment ends on 31 March 2010. The Region is seeking to make an appointment of Chairman for the period of 01 April 2010 to 31 March 2014. An advertisement, role description and application form are available to download or by contacting joan.massie@swimming.org.
Review of Regional Affiliation Fees 2010

At the 2009 ASA South East Region Annual Council Meeting, the Council passed a resolution that the Regional Management Board should review the Regional Affiliation fees that had been set for 2010.
