Swim South East is one of the 8 regions of the Amateur Swimming Association. The Region comprises the clubs, associations, organisations and bodies with headquarters within the ceremonial counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Surrey and West Sussex, together with the Crown Dependencies of the Channel Islands.
The Regional Management Board and the South East Regional team, based in Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre, near Marlow, are collectively responsible for managing all the aquatic disciplines (Diving, Swimming, Disability Swimming, Open Water Swimming, Synchronised Swimming and Water Polo) within the Region.
The Regional Director and Chairman lead the Board to manage the delivery of Regional strategies and in seeking funding initiatives and partners to ensure this can be achieved successfully.

Regional Development Conference and Annual Council Meeting 2008

ASA Constitutional Review

The ASA has launched a consultation exercise in relation to amending its Constitution. The deadline for responses to the proposed changes is 4th June 2008
Please go to www.britishswimming.org and click on the ASA Constitutional Review found top centre of the home page. It would be useful to the Region if you copy your response to the Regional Director eli.karlicka-cook@swimming.org as soon as possible

Nominations are now open for the 2008 ASA South East Regional Awards. The Region is delighted to announce that there are seven categories this year. The first five categories will automatically be nominated for the National Aquaforce Volunteer Awards.
