Swim South East is one of 8 regions of The ASA, the English national governing body for swimming, diving, water polo, open water, and synchronised swimming. The Region covers Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, the Channel Islands, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Sussex and the parts of Surrey and Kent that are outside London.
FINA Swimwear Rules for Masters Competitions

At the FINA Bureau meeting on 14 & 15th January 2010 it was agreed that the same swimwear regulations should apply for Masters competitions as for other pool swimming.
In summary, the implications for the ASA South East Region Masters Competition and for British Records is that swim wear must comply with the FINA requirements. For European and World records suits worn must be on the FINA approved list. The referee’s decision will be final.

The ASA Swimming Teaching Conference 2010

Taking place on Thursday 4th March, the third ASA Swimming Teaching Conference will be held at the Heritage Motor Museum in Warwickshire.The conference is particularly aimed at Swimming Teachers and Coordinators working on the delivery and improvement of Learn to Swim.
Sainsbury's Active Kids Available to Swim 21 Clubs

This year, for the first time, the Sainsbury’s Active Kids scheme has been made available to swim 21/Clubmark Accredited clubs.
From 17 February to 8 June 2010 Sainsbury’s shoppers can earn Active Kids vouchers which can be donated to clubs to redeem against any of the products featured in the Active Kids Catalogue, such as sports equipment, resources and motivational experiences!
