South East Development Training Sessions
The SE Regional Development Training Sessions take place on the following Sunday afternoons in Basingstoke (Aquadrome). These are open to all U19 players in the region and are targetted at a level below that of the RTC. Anybody wanting to supplement their current training is welcome to attend.
The Under 16 Inter-Sub-Region Tournement takes place on the Sunday 12th October.

SE Junior Water Polo Players Gain National Selection

Joel Abbott and Scott Martin of Worthing SC, played in the qualifying tournament of the European Championships in Sofia. Jack Waller of Hailsham SC and Alex Tollefson of Sevenoaks SC played in the older age group qualifying tournament in Skope, Macedonia. All gained national selection this summer. The team has successfully qualified for the finals which will be held in Istanbul in Turkey at the beginning of September.
Sarah Tollefson also Sevenoaks SC has also been selected for the GB girls youth squad and will play in the European Championships in Hungry in August.
These athletes have worked incredibly hard to gain selection and the Region wish them every success in their tournaments.
ASA SER Annual Gala Awards Dinner

The Regional Aquaforce Awards will be presented during the Annual Gala Awards and Dinner on Saturday 13th September at the Grange Hotel in Bracknell.
British Team Ready for Tough International Challenge

The British men's Water Polo team are set to take to the water at the International Tournament in Lodz to take on Poland and Turkey in a three-way competition.
The 15-strong-squad will be using this event as a training tournament as they build their experience before the London 2012 Olympics.
Head Coach Jerome Read has introduced three new faces to the squad - Jack Waller (South East Region), Jake Vincent and Matthew Holland - as British Water Polo looks to give junior athletes more senior international exposure.

The Maccabiah Games will take place in Israel between 7th - 24 July 2009. The games were first held in 1932 are the largest sporting event in the world after the Olympic and Commonwealth Games and take place every 4 years.
Details for the Youth (1191/2) and Junior (1992/3) Water Polo trails are: Sunday 29th June 2009 from 12.30 to 3pm. The venue is: Haberdashers Askes Boy's school, Butterfly Lane, Elstree, Hartfordshire WD6 3AF
